ESC Corporation Establishes Non-Profit Foundation to Fund Equine Welfare, Education & Sustainability Initiatives

In May 2024 the board members of Equine Sports Council establish the new 501.3c non-profit division Equine Sports Foundation which will begin funding and support the future of the show horse industries in areas of Animal and Human Welfare, Education and Sustainability. The parent organization Equine Sports Council a private Alabama Corporation will maintain its current structure and board of directors for management of all horse show sanctioning activities. The Equine Sports Foundation will assume responsibilities, both organizationally and financially, for our ongoing Welfare, Education, Advocacy and Sustainability efforts.

Mission: The Equine Sports Foundation is dedicated to promoting the welfare of equines and humans involved in the show horse industry. Through education and advocacy, we strive to support the equine sports community. Our mission is to ensure a sustainable future for the show horse industry, with particular focus on the trotting breeds.

Vision: Through innovative educational programs and advocacy efforts, our vision is to be a leading force in advancing the welfare of equestrians and our equine partners in the show horse industry. By promoting sustainability of resources, supporting advocacy efforts, providing professional education and talent development, we envision a future where the show horse industry thrives and continues to enrich the lives of all those involved.
